Filters and blur, only where they are needed
Filters and blur no longer have to cover the whole clip. In the Clip Editor they last exactly as long as you decide.

Filters on the timeline
Vivid, warm, cool, black and white and vintage are now added in the Clip Editor, and each filter is a bar on the timeline like a text. Stretch it over the whole clip, or keep black and white for the flashback and warm for the ending.
The Free plan has one filter per clip. Paid plans, once they open, will allow up to five; where two overlap, the one added last is the one you see.
Blur for a few seconds
The blur areas you draw while framing a clip cover the whole clip. The Clip Editor adds a blur tool for the moments that only need it briefly: a notification that pops up, a face that crosses the shot, a name on a slide.
Draw it on the video, move it, resize it from its corner, and set on the timeline the seconds it covers. It stays in the same place of the frame, and like texts and emojis it can go in front of or behind the other layers. Blur is a paid tool; a clip that already has it keeps it on any plan.
Pick the quality
Next to the Export button you now choose the quality of the clip: 480p or 720p on Free, and up to 1080p on paid plans. A smaller file uploads faster from a phone; the highest quality looks best on large screens. A clip is never sharper than the video it comes from.
Step-by-step guideBlur part of a video
Blur any area of a video clip before sharing it: a name, a phone number, a screen or a logo. Draw the box, move it, resize it and export.
