Our position

ClipSprint is meant for people to reuse their own videos. Users confirm they hold the rights to each video they load. We respond to clear notices of alleged infringement and close the accounts of repeat infringers.

How to send a notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act for one, and believe that content processed through ClipSprint infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] that includes:

1. Your name, address, telephone number and email address.

2. A description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.

3. Enough information for us to find the material, such as the link to the original video and to the clip, if you have it.

4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.

5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

When we receive a complete notice we remove or disable the material and tell the user who loaded it.

Counter-notice

If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice to [email protected] with your contact details, a description of the material and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live, and your signature.
