Resize a video for TikTok, Reels and Shorts

Every feed wants a different shape. ClipSprint exports the same moment in vertical, square or wide, and lets you decide what stays in the picture instead of cropping blindly to the centre.

How to do it

  1. Load the video and choose the clip

Paste the URL and set the moment you want.

  2. Pick the shape

9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 1:1 for square posts, 16:9 for wide.

  3. Decide what stays in frame

Drag the frame over the video and zoom if you need to. Or switch to the blurred background to keep everything.

  4. Export

Download the MP4 in the shape you chose.

Crop to fill

The frame on the video shows exactly what the clip will keep. Drag it left or right to follow the subject, and zoom up to 3× to get closer; once zoomed in, the frame also moves up and down.

Keep the whole picture

When cropping would cut off something important, such as a second person or a slide, choose the blurred background. The full frame is placed in the middle and the empty space is filled with a soft, blurred copy of the video, or with plain black bars if you prefer the classic look.

Sizes you get

Vertical clips are 720×1280 on the Free plan and 1080×1920 on paid plans. Square clips are 720×720 or 1080×1080, and wide clips 1280×720 or 1920×1080.

Questions

Which shape should I use for each platform?

9:16 for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. 1:1 works well for feed posts, and 16:9 for regular video players.

Will my video lose quality?

Cropping keeps part of the original picture, so a tight crop or a strong zoom enlarges it. Starting from a 1080p video gives the best result.

Can the framing change during the clip?

On paid plans you can move the frame at any moment and the crop glides to the new position.
